The Bank, located at Campbell and Sunset, Springfield, Mo. is a seemingly simple job but is a tribute to Nesbitt Construction's capability to find solutions to difficulties on the job. The building itself is a 2,500 square foot brick and wood frame veneer completed March 2001 at a cost of $490,000. The problem was the construction area was too low. However, by importing dirt, Nesbitt Construction was able to raise the entire jobsite three and a half feet so that The Bank would be level to the existing street.
